What You've Missed in July

Clearly, by my absence here, it's been quite the month.

Work = busybusybusybusybusy. Basically the entire month has been like my previous post. Many nights at the office until 10pm. I don't even have time to read other blogs, let alone write my own.

Many weddings have been shot. Last weekend's was at this awesome vineyard in CT, almost on the Rhode Island border called Salt Water Farm Vineyard. It used to be a WWI (or WWII, I can't remember) airport and airplane hanger that they have restored and converted into winery and amazing event space. I bought some of their wine on the spot. I dig it. Everyone should go. Except don't go when it's humid, as the mosquitoes will actually eat you alive. I still have welts.

We had to rebuild the engine in our car, (not ourselves, thankfully). But quite sad to see thousands of dollars disappear.

And tomorrow I head to this year's Barn House reunion. We're in DC this year. I'm excited to see those girls!

And that has basically been July. Hope yours has been less hectic. And frankly, I hope my August will be better. Fingers crossed....
